In support of FSU's mission, the Office of Faculty Development (OFD) provides training, support and professional development to faculty members to promote continued excellence in their teaching responsibilities. We promote and support quality and integrity in face to face, web enhanced, hybrid and online course environments by providing relevant and effective training, services and support to faculty.
NC SARA Compliance
The National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA) offers a solution to the state authorization requirements. It is a voluntary, reciprocity process that allows institutions to become authorized by their home state rather than individual states. Thus eliminating the need for individual approvals in all states where institutions serve students. NC-SARA also supports efforts to increase educational attainment by making authorization more efficient and uniform across states, and more effective at dealing with quality and integrity issues in distance education.
